But in the last few years information has come to light that this is happening in big cities as well as in educated people. In some households, if a woman did not have a boy child after marriage, she was mistreated. That is why this issue is becoming more serious. Because it demonstrates that the mentality of wishing a Boy rather than a Girl is prevalent throughout the world. As a result, the idea of not desiring a girl at any level, whether city or village, well educated or uneducated, must be eradicated. It is necessary to dispel the myth that a girl child is a burden from the minds of those who practice it even today, as well as to raise awareness that it is illegal.

Law enforcement is ineffective, and ultrasonography is widely available. The government must keep a close eye on all prenatal diagnostic centres and abortion clinics, ensuring that they are used for their intended purpose rather than being used for illegal or unethical purposes.

Many social organizations are working to prevent female feticide. There is also the Prenatal and Pregnancy Diagnosis Prevention Act. But loopholes in the law, as well as the stubbornness of the family from home, lead to female feticide in many places. If we want to stop this, we have to start at home. This kind of thing cannot be stopped unless the mentality of wishing a girl and not just a boy changes. Just blaming the doctor won't do any good.
