According to studies, education improves women's economic, social, and health status. Female education, on the other hand, improves economic standing, which leads to a reduction in poverty, early marriages, and adversities. Girls can get life skills, reproductive health knowledge, and a social environment to discuss difficulties at school. Early marriage is a barrier for women who want to pursue an education because of financial constraints. Families who believe in the right of girls to an education may not always be able to assist them. Women's education, according to studies, has a significant impact on all aspects of a child's development, including academic success.

Those mothers who pursued higher education rather than settling for a basic primary education can better assist their children. Higher investment in women's education has traditionally been expected to pay off in the form of increased schooling for the next generation.  

Looking back in time, we can see that women in Indian society were treated with respect. During the Vedic age, women were learned.

Their situation altered as society got more conservative. They were confined to the kitchen's four walls and entrusted to the children's care. Men became earners, and it was thought that they needed to be educated. As a result, males and women's roles were divided.

However, the social landscape has drastically transformed in recent years. Women are becoming educated in practically every sector in which men were previously active. Art, science, technology, and politics are no longer solely the domain of men. Women have begun to study these things and have made significant contributions to themselves and their country by actively participating in those areas. As a result, every school now recognises the importance of educating girls. If a woman is an educated mother, she will be able to better raise her children. It can help to broaden the perspectives of its children by being aware of current events and ideas in the society. If a husband is unable to work for family reasons, the wife can become financially self-sufficient. She can provide a better lifestyle for her children and husband by working to supplement the family's income.

No one can deny, however, that educating women is an absolute necessity in every community. The Government also assumed responsibility for supporting general education, particularly primary education for girls.
