about the nearest eye collecting center/eye bank, which is usually located at a
medical college or any nearby eye hospital. Register for an eye donation, where
you must pledge and submit information. You will be given an Eye Donation card
once all of the paperwork have been completed. There are no fees because this is a free public
service.
If the death was caused by diseases or
conditions such as AIDS/hepatitis, Rabies, Septicemia/sepsis, Leukemia, or
certain malignancies of the head and neck, the eyes will not be collected..
