Mother Teresa was a Great social worker. She is the true saint This is what Tukaram Maharaj has said in a verse. From that point of view, it is appropriate to call Mother Teresa a saint.

Early Life
Mother Teresa was born on August 27, 1910, in the village of Skopje in
Yugoslavia. Mother Teresa's father was an Albanian shopkeeper, and her mother
was the daughter of a farmer. Mother's toughness and father's practicality were
qualities that Mother Teresa inherited. The Albanians had a small family. So
Mother Teresa's childhood was very happy, even though she was not very rich.
She was a Christian by religion. At the age of 18, Ann (young) abandoned all
association and became a missionary. She studied English for a year. She
arrived in India on January 6, 1929. She arrived in Kolkata and began teaching
geography at Loreto Mission's St. Mary's
High School.
Social Work
Later, in the American Medical Mission in Patna, She
received her basic education in medical treatment and Nursing. Later, Mother
Teresa started her service in 1948 in the slum of Motijheel in Kolkata. There she began to serve
the sick, the handicapped and the orphans with love. She saw the Lord Jesus in
every human being. That is why public
service is Isha Seva. That is how the society was working. Mother Teresa
loved and cared for everyone who came to her, regardless of her religion, disability, poverty, or leprosy,
young or old. The tears of grief were wiped away by giving comfort, patience,
support to everyone. In 1952, She opened the Nirmal Hridaya Institute of Religion at the Kalimata Mandir in Kolkata. There,
all castes take refuge in the sick, the elderly and the disabled. Branches of
her Noble work are spread not only in our country but also Abroad.
In
1957, She started the 'Leprosy Service Center'
as if She had taken a vow to serve the lepers. This continues unabated. People
gladly give money, grain, pillows, quilts, and blankets to their work. Everyone
believed that the money we gave would be put to good use. "Mother Teresa is a walking Idol of love" In 1962, She
was awarded the Padma Shri by the
Government of India.
Apart from the Padma Shri, Teresa has received many other honors and
awards. In 1972, in the presence of Indira Gandhi, Mother Teresa was awarded the
Nehru Award by the then President Giri. Earlier, in 1971, Mother Teresa was
awarded the 21,500 Good Samoriton and the 23rd Pope John Peace Prize. In the
same year, she received the 50,000 Pound ,Joseph Kennedy Junior Foundation.
From the same Award, A school for mentally retarded children was started near
the Kolkata airport.
She did not spend a single rupee from the prize
money. She used it for ministry. She was
awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1978. In 1980, she was awarded the Bharat Ratna. The Rajiv Gandhi
Sadbhavana Award was given in 1993.

Despite all these awards and honors, Mother Teresa has not changed a bit, nor has she taken comfort in leaving work. She had great faith in God. That is why this great work they have set up has never failed. Branches of her work are open all over the world today. Even so, it is God's grace that they have chosen India and the city of Kolkata as their area of work. Mother Teresa was far from partisan. She was not greedy for fame, yet She became famous all over the world.
There is no one today who does not know the name 'Mother
Teresa' and her work. Mother Teresa is a
supernatural, Noble "woman" who seeks nothing but her own
happiness and is constantly working to alleviate the suffering of others in the
world.
Mother Teresa is a gift from God to India. Mother Teresa, who loves the disabled, the elderly, the orphans, is truly the Mother of all. People like Mother Teresa are very rarely born. and adorn the whole world. Mother Teresa is a woman who has done a great job for the bald people by giving them love.
